[Update as of 7 November 2016 - 15:00 SGT] - The SecureAPlus servers are online. It was back by late Friday last week as originally planned but was under observation during the weekend. As of today, it is close to full operational status.
We use the term "close" as during our observation period we are still receiving reports of a few users still getting connection issues with the servers. Rest assured that we are working towards resolving this.
For most of the SecureAPlus userbase, the connectivity issues should no longer be affecting them. If you are still experiencing connection issues with our servers please do not hesitate to drop us an email at secureaplus[at]secureage.com as it helps us with fully resolving the problem.
[Original post published on 2 November 2016 is as follows:]
Attention All SecureAPlus Users,
The Universal AV Servers will be undergoing an unscheduled maintenance in order to improve the performance of full system scans.
We will begin maintenance of the servers today, November 2 at 10:00AM Singapore Time.
During this time, the Initial Full System Scan & Regular Full System Scan results will not be received by the server.
While the Universal AV scan results can still be received, Virus definition updates of any of the 12 engines will temporarily be paused. We would like to advise users to exercise due dilligence and extra care when trusting and unblocking untrusted files during this time.
We are aiming to have the servers to be back to normal by Friday, November 4. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and we appreciate your patience on this matter.
The SecureAPlus Team
